Which schools/colleges?
It is available for six schools* across our regions. These schools are:

This outreach is for students in years 8-10.
What is on offer?
- Small group projects and workshops to help develop study skills giving participating students the knowledge and confidence to succeed in their exams.
- One to one or small group mentoring to those involved in the project work.
- Fully funded university campus visits to our four university partners; University of Oxford, Oxford Brookes University, University of Reading and Buckinghamshire New University. These visits will be focused on raising attainment for students.
University campus visits
The visits will be to our university partners for students on the Elevate programme. Each day will allow young people to experience a university environment and will focus on delivering curriculum based content to support young people in their educational journey. Each day will also have workshops in study skills that will complement the Study Higher Elevate programme. All coach and lunch costs will be covered by Study Higher and the university partners. Programme title: Bringing English to life
Date: 3rd April 2025
Year group: year 9
Content:
Students will participate in three different workshops in which they explore how literacy can be brought to life through Art, Music and Performance. Students can explore the different applications of English through these creative areas and understand the role that English plays beyond the curriculum.

Programme title: Rewilding and evolution
Date: 7th May 2025
Year group: year 10
Content:
Students will engage in two immersive sessions focusing on Biology, aimed at boosting confidence in their current studies and showcasing the pathways available in this subject at university. The sessions delve into ‘Rewilding’ and ‘Evolution/Natural Selection,’ aligning with the GCSE Science syllabus for both Double and Triple awards. Additionally, a tailored study skills workshop will reinforce their newly acquired subject knowledge.

Programme title: History of STEM
Date: 9th May and 16th May 2025
Year group: year 8 (9th May) and year 10 (16th May)
Content:
Students will participate in workshops discussing the role of women in STEM and an introduction to this collection of early scientific instruments from the Islamic World.” Workshops will also looks at study skills related to science.
